- Specific understanding of why fertilizers are of benefit;
- Corrective Products as it applies to soil health and care;
- Weeds including any and all unwanted plant growth;
- Insects as it applies to specific Turf Plants - globally;
- Servicing the customer using soil science and fertilizer;
- The Well Rooted philosophy of care as it relates to our global environment.
Plan for and manage day to day business operations in order to create a dependable income. Provide a solid 'grass roots' understanding of turf care as it applies to the lawn care industry utilizing soil science as the fundamental system for proper health and care.
Certification of Completion from TS Technical College. Each student will be enrolled as a member of Well Rooted and issued a window sticker.
The lawn care industry is a relatively easy industry to join. As the industry grew over the past decades, the awareness of its benefits grew. Some examples of the key benefits of being a lawn care professional:
- Working outdoors rather than working in an office space;
- Developing a ground space that meets and/or exceeds the expectations of homeowners;
- Minimal experience or training to start working in the industry;
- Minimal costs to develop a business operation to service customers;
- Seasonal hours of operation versus year round regular office hours of business;
- Having the ability to interact with homeowners, one on one, with one of their largest investments and having the ability to provide solutions and results that enhance its appearance and health.
